It has recently come to my attention that I have been ordering too many soy lattes on a weekly basis. They are just so good here, I can’t help it! I have accidentally become a coffee snob and can now taste the difference between a good coffee and a great coffee. This also means that I no longer have time for the not-so-good stuff (goodbye Starbucks). Anyway, I figured I should put my new found expertise to use and recommend the best coffee I’ve had in Melbourne so far. It’s possible I’ve forgotten about a great cup or two, but then again probably not.
1. St. Ali in South Melbourne: seriously, I’ve never tasted anything so good- what do they do to it?
2. Dukes in Prahran: I know what they do to this stuff- they put two shots of espresso in every cup, which makes it super strong. I can’t always handle that.
3. Espresso 3121 in Cremorne: This needs to be verified by a second trip though I’m pretty confident it will be.
